Türkiye Sigorta Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”) and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik ve Hayat Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”) execute private pension contracts, life insurance and elementary insurance transactions in the private pension branch and life insurance with a customer-centered service philosophy focused on the security of our customers’ information. In this regard, the Company’s website; www.turkiyesigorta.com.tr (hereinafter referred to as the “website”), internet branch (hereinafter referred to as the “internet branch”), and mobile branch (hereinafter referred to as the “mobile branch”) adopt the following basic rules to protect the confidentiality of the information you provide.

Our customers will be deemed to have accepted these Terms of Use and Privacy Agreement by using our website, internet branch, and mobile branch.

Our website, internet branch, and mobile branch allow for product/service applications, information updates, and other transactions related to products. The Company takes the necessary technical measures to ensure the security of the data entered in these areas.

The Company requests some personal information (name, surname, phone number, email address, etc.) from our website in order to provide better service to our customers and to reach potential customers who want to obtain information about our products/services.

The information and other transactions related to the products that our customers have entered through our website, internet branch, and mobile branch cannot be viewed by other internet users. Access to the personal information shared by our customers is restricted, including company personnel.

Unless there is a legal obligation, this information will not be shared with third parties, will not be used for commercial purposes for any reason outside of activities, and will not be sold.

The Company may share the contact information of customers and potential customers, with their consent, through sales channels operating under the Company, including agencies, brokers, banks, direct sales offices, and in all kinds of promotional, advertising, and communication applications in accordance with its purpose.

The information shared by our customers and potential customers with our Company may be used to promote products, services, and campaigns with their consent, and to inform about innovations and events.

The Disclosure Form for the Processing of Personal Data prepared by the Company within the scope of Personal Data Protection Law in order to safeguard personal data is available on our website.

The content of our website, internet branch, and mobile branch is prepared by the Company. In the event that the Company provides support services from other enterprises, the Company will ensure that these companies comply with the Company’s confidentiality standards and conditions.

Our website provides links to other websites. The commitments in these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are valid for our own website and do not cover other websites. The privacy commitment and terms of use of those sites apply to the use of other websites accessed via links from our website. The Company is not responsible for the use of information, ethical principles, privacy policies, quality and service standards of other websites accessed through our website for advertising, banner, content purposes, or any other purpose, as well as for any material or moral damages and losses that may occur on these sites.

When signing up for our internet branch and mobile branch, our customers will log in with a one-time password sent to the mobile phones registered with our Company, using their Turkish identity number/blue card number/customer number or foreign identity number. After the sign-up, the user will continue to use their Turkish identity number/blue card number/customer number or foreign identity number as the username and will log in with the password they created.

Our customers will be able to log in using facial recognition technology and/or fingerprint recognition technology, depending on the features of the mobile phone they use, apart from the password they created when signing up.

Our customers hereby accept, declare and undertake in advance that the password they create is unique to them; that their consent will be considered valid for any transactions they perform and no further written instructions will be accepted; that they will take all necessary precautions and care to ensure the confidentiality of the password and that it is not used by third parties; that since the username and password are personal, they will not share them with any third parties or institutions in any way; that they will immediately report any suspicious actions to the Company; that any transactions made using their password by third parties will be considered to have been made by themselves and that the Company has no responsibility in this regard; and that the Company does not need to receive any other written instructions for these transactions.

Our customers are bound by all transactions made through these branches, including the necessary guidance and instructions regarding the transactions that can be performed through our internet branch and mobile branch.

Our customers acknowledge in advance that the Company has no obligation or commitment to notify them regarding the transactions carried out under these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and that they must personally monitor and control the results of the transactions.

Our customers are solely responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the transactions made by our customers and all requests and instructions received by the Company in terms of content and form. The Company is not responsible in any way for any damages or losses that our relevant customer or any third party may suffer due to the accuracy of the information provided by our customer.

Our customers acknowledge in advance that the Company will not be held responsible for any interruptions or cessation of services provided through the internet due to technical reasons such as malfunctions, or for any disruptions caused by the internet server.

Our customers can perform transactions such as purchasing, early closure, interim payment, and future closure through our internet branch and mobile branch remotely. Our customers agree that these transactions will be made via credit card or debit card. Our customers acknowledge in advance that they will share valid credit card or bank card information completely and accurately during this process, and that they permit the storage of this information and its use for the execution of the payment transaction.

If the customer’s credit card has insufficient balance, or if the correct and valid credit card or bank card information has not been provided, etc., the transactions will be suspended until the time when the block can be made or the payment can be completed. This suspension will be given to him/her as an error message on the screen. In this process, it is hereby understood that the Company’s records prevails in case such error message fails to be transmitted for various reasons (power outage, internet line outage, etc.).

The copyright of the information, materials, and their arrangement on our website, internet branch, and mobile branch is owned by the Company. All copyright, registered trademark, patent, intellectual and other property rights regarding the information and materials other than those belonging to third parties contained in our website are reserved by the Company.
